Oracle SQL and PLSQL

Job Description:

• Senior Database resource with hands on experience and decision taking skills.


• Independently understand, design and code application components.


• Excellent knowledge of Oracle and relational database technology is a must.


• Excellent understanding of OLAP vs OLTP, data ware housing concepts.


• Exceptional knowledge of performance tuning, hints, optimizer joins


• Analytical functions, bulk processing and advances oracle skills like advance queues, pipeline.


• XML processing on Oracle.


• Proper database design -  partitioning, pruning and related nuisances


• ETL understanding and batch processing


• Knowledge of packages and triggers


• SQLLDR and other data loading tools


• Be able to debug issues relate to Oracle as well as web during then batch quickly.


• Excellent communication skills, be able to work with BA’s and users to understand functional and technical requirement documents.


• Be able to design, maintain documents, and present to business.


• Azure and Cloud concepts nice to have.


• Knowledge on advanced data management tools is added advantage.


• Knowledge and experience in Unix scripting is also required.


• Understanding and experience in maintaining and enhancing batch driven applications


• Knowledge of either big data, cloud and snowflake based development is desirable.
