 Summary

• The Plant Closer under the direction of the Plant Manager is responsible for ensuring Health & Safety standards are met by complying with legislation, company policies and promoting a safe work environment; assisting with the daily operations and closing functions of their assigned ready-mix plants.  This includes maintaining the plant and yard, ensuring the last loads are completed, restocking materials, operation of loader/forklift and plant closing functions.


• When necessary, must be able to perform physical laborer including shoveling and raking materials.


• The focus of this role is to maintain excellent Customer Service, Safety, Quality, Efficiency, preventative Maintenance and Housekeeping on a part time basis as support to the plant manager/batchmen.  


• Position hours not to exceed 30 hours weekly and shifts will vary based on operational needs.

Qualifications (Education/Experience) and Required Skills

• Loader Operators certification or ability to obtain within a reasonable time period.


• Strong interpersonal and both verbal/written communication skills.


• Highly motivated- self starter


• 18 yrs or older/ GED or high school diploma


• Valid Drivers License
