Job Description Summary

This position will interact with Customer Service, Operations, Finance and Sales on related tasks as needed. The primary areas of responsibility will include, but not be limited to, resale purchasing, costing of resale goods, price list maintenance within ERP system as well as distributed versions and local management of marketing collateral.

Essential Job Functions


  • Manage stock buy item inventory levels

  • Work closely with suppliers and dispatch to ensure the best value

    • Early buy programs

    • TL discounts

    • Backhaul rates on inbound deliveries



  • SFDC Analysis

  • Sales and SKU analysis

  • SFDC leads

  • Administration of sales initiative  programs

  • Prepare monthly consignment billings (SoCal)

  • Manage sample delivery program

  • Assist with forecasting and purchasing of  resale products

  • Assist with resolving billing issues and any conflicts  with suppliers

  • Generate  &  manage special order resale goods

  • Organize marketing collateral and work with sales on reorder points

  • Update and manage purchasing agreements for resale items within ERP

  • Prepare purchase order by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from supplies for substitute items; obtaining approval from appropriate manager

  • Assist with Inventory counting process on resale inventories as well as discrepancy research & resolution

  • Directly working with vendors to obtain support of resale goals

  • Weekly review & sign off of MPO report for SOX compliance

  • Other duties as required

Requirements

 


  • High school diploma / equivalent

  • At least 1 year of experience

  • Manufacturing and Accounting experience preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

  • Ability to utilize mathematical concepts to compute rate, ratio, percent, percentages, and volume

  • Ability to solve new or existing problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

  • Strong organizational and time management skills; must be able to maintain confidential information
