Help develop best-in-class next-generation sequencing assays!

We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our team in Agilent's Diagnostics and Genomics Group to further develop Agilent's NGS technologies for liquid biopsy. As a scientist on the team, you will be responsible for experimental design, execution, and data analysis of next-generate sequencing assays. The ideal candidate has experience with molecular biological techniques and working with NGS technologies, enjoys working in the lab, and wants to apply and develop their skills in a fast-paced R&D team environment.

Qualifications




  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in a related field with a suitable field, with Ph.D. degree, preferred. May consider candidates with an equivalent combination of education, training, and hands-on experience specific to this role.

  • Proven experience in molecular assay development.

  • Knowledge and experience with common molecular biology techniques and principles such as Nucleic acid hybridization assays, PCR and primer design, DNA/RNA isolation, enzymatic manipulation of DNA/RNA, etc.

  • Ability and experience working with next-generation sequencing sample preparation workflows

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment within a global organization
