Summary of Job Duties:

The Maintenance Worker performs labor shop related work such as hauling/moving furniture, digging ditches, assists with helping to replace sidewalks, assists with helping to clean up job sites, etc. This position will perform special projects and assignments, work scheduled overtime, and will report to work during inclement weather.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job function of this job, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.



Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma

Required license(s)/certification(s

  • Valid Driver's License


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


  • Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques


  • Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation and maintenance


  • Ability to follow instructions and perform repetitive manual work


  • Ability to use cleansers and other agents to clean floors and furniture


  • Ability to use housekeeping cleaning supplies and equipment


  • Ability to work independently without close supervision


  • Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions


  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and to prioritize assignments


  • Ability to perform repetitive manual work


  • Ability to do required lifting (up to 50 lbs)
