Waste Pro of Florida in Fort Myers has an opening for a Fleet/Parts Maintenance Clerk. Our benefits package includes Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance; a 401k Plan, Disability Insurance; Vacation, Holiday and Sick Time.

This position supports the truck maintenance team by ordering parts and tracking parts inventory on the Dossier system. The successful candidate has truck parts counter experience, will be highly organized, is skilled in computer database use and Microsoft Office, and has a strong commitment to work accuracy and exceptional customer service.

Shift: Monday -- Friday day shift and some Saturdays

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Schedules preventive maintenance for Waste Pro vehicles


• Orders truck parts and supplies


• Maintains organization of the parts storage area


• Truck parts supply counter experience


• Strong computer and computer program skills - Microsoft Office and Dossier


• Input of vehicle engine hours/fuel daily


• Input of planned work to open work orders and assign to technicians for current day


• Open work orders to charge out SOP to vehicles they were ordered for


• Verifying of work order accuracy turned in by technicians to confirm time, parts are charged out and coded correctly


• Filing and organizing of vehicle maintenance files on a daily basis


• Generate daily SOP list for parts person to order next morning


• In conjunction with the parts person keep parts room organized, clean and stocked adequately

High school diploma or G.E.D and a minimum of 6 months of related work experience required. Must have the desire and ability to learn Waste Pro proprietary software applications Computer proficiency- MS Office, Typing Skills. Ability to multi task.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Shop and Office Environment including, but not limited to, machines, tools, heavy equipment, chemicals, solvents, dust and fumes. Outside environment exposed to weather and vibrations from trucks and maintenance facility.
