We are looking for a bright, motivated, engaged individual who is interested in a career in in-house corporate investor relations. In this role you will have the opportunity to interact with many aspects of the business including the finance, treasury, investor relations and corporate communications teams, as well as, eventually with various business heads and executives across the Firm.
Responsibilities:
Interact regularly with senior executives to craft and communicate a cohesive narrative to the investment community;
Assist in the development, revision, and distribution of regular investor communications, including earnings releases, investor presentations, and presentations to credit ratings agencies;
Compile and analyze data to assist the Investor Relations team and senior executives communicate effectively with investors, prospective investors, and sell-side analysts;
Assist in the development, revision, and distribution of earnings materials;
Monitor, understand, and communicate the performance of major peers to senior executives;
Support the communication of important news items to senior management;
Prepare and proofread general correspondence including emails, letters, memos, and reports;
Learn from the investor relations team as well as finance, corporate communications, and various business managers;
Assist in shareholder questions/issue resolution, as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
College graduate - preferably with a major in economics, accounting, finance, or business.
Interested in pursuing a career in finance.
Ability to manage multiple priorities at one time and keep track of deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
An energetic, efficient, self-motivating and resourceful team player and individual contributor.
Work experience in financial services or commercial real estate services a plus.
