JOB DESCRIPTION:

Participate in new project pursuits in support of Business Development.
Must have complete understanding of the owner contract for the project and risk mitigation measures and ensure that the project team is aware of them.
Manage preconstruction activities (Estimating, Operations Plan, Scheduling) as necessary.
May be responsible for bidding, scope review, and awards of subcontracts.
Ensure subcontracts, Purchase Orders (POs) and change orders are reviewed and accurate.
Perform all required engineering duties and responsibilities, including Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC).
Responsible for the change order process (subcontractor and owner).
Work with the Superintendent and Safety Director on implementing the safety program.
Manage and develop staff as assigned, including providing input on performance evaluations.
Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements at all times.
Develop relationships with owners, subcontractors and consultants.
Work with Accounting to initiate Pay Application process and follow up to ensure payment is received in a timely manner.
Participate in development of schedule and sequencing of work. Ensure trade contractors have the latest schedule and are contractually tied thereto.
Review, validate and manage the project financials.
Manage closeout process.

Technician or any other job title performing the following job duties:

Participating in new project pursuits in support of Business Development.
Must have complete understanding of the owner contract for the project and risk mitigation measures and ensure that the project team is aware of them.
Analyzing construction documents and BIM models to identify different building enclosure construction systems, and estimate total project scopes. Performed independent quantity takeoff studies. Performed value engineering studies . Collaborated with design team to develop joinery details at critical building systems conditions. Noted responsibility call-outs/matrices on design drawings to ensure proper sequencing of the work between different vendors or subcontractors and outlined responsibilities of all involved parties.
Performing all required engineering duties and responsibilities, including Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC).
Identifying scope overlaps and captured scope gaps to be translated in change orders.
Working with the Superintendent and Safety Director on implementing the safety program.
Providing input on team members upon completion of an international field operations assignment. This included a full evaluation of interpersonal abilities, business acumen, effective communications skills, team working skills, and technical proficiencies.
Ensuring strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements at all times.
Developing relationships with owners, subcontractors and consultants.
Working with Accounting to initiate Pay Application process and follow up to ensure payment is received in a timely manner.
Participating in development of schedule and sequencing of work. Ensure trade contractors have the latest schedule and are contractually tied thereto.
Performing duties with increased awareness of project financials. Consistently produced results while conforming to budget other financial parameters. Thrived to reduce expenses by capitalizing on available to resources and multitasking.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Requires a Bachelor's degree in
Architecture, Civil Engineering or Related Field and 2 years of experience in
the job offered or 2 years of experience in the Related Occupation.
