The primary responsibilities of this position areinsupportof customer facing IT solutions for the Connecticut DESSP and state and local policeoperationsas well as the CT DMV and TSA related operations. You will join an established team in theNortheast who maintain our similar product lines, however this role you will be filling is to begin with a new project that has yet to be deployed. You will be involved from inception, assist with the deployment, and establish yourself into a support role that will leave you securely employed for years to come as one of our subject matter experts in our Connecticut operations.
This is a remote job as there is no local IDEMIA office to report to. Yourwork-daywill begin and end from your residence, but will involve daily travel.
Maintain system functionality through preventive and remedial measures.
Work as part of cloud support team to support 24x7 operations
Compensated On-Call rotation requirements
This role will require travel within the New England area and at times will require overnights to complete a task.
You will be compensated for overtime that falls outside of business hours
You will be part of a compensated rotating on-call schedule that at times will be responsible for responding on nights and weekends.
Support the day-to-day field service and repairsoperation in order to maintain compliance to the Customer(s)' contractual SLA requirements
Responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of field equipment including computers, cameras, printers, UPS,signature pads, scanners and fingerprint capture devices, and ensuring that company assets are tracked and safeguarded
Act as liaison between the IDEMIA operations teamand the Customer(s)' operational personnel
Provide/manage hardware and software support and maintenance
Responsible for contributing to weekly and monthly reporting as defined by the Supervisor
Control/manage consumable and spare parts inventory atlevels defined by management

Required Experience
Four year degree in related field, e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, etc., or two year degree w/equivalent levels of experience in related field. (Appropriate levels of experience, typically two years' experience equals one year of college, maybe exchanged for degree
3 years or more experience in customer relationship management
5 years or more experience in Field Service/Customer Support/Service Departments
One year or more using Red Hat Linux in a professional environment
One year or more using Oracle in a professional environment
One year or more supporting Unix/Linux in a professional environment
Experience installing and supporting Windows and Linux servers and personal computers
Windows Administration experience
Network Troubleshooting experience
Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Strong customer interaction skills, communication, technical aptitude, and ability to work well w/others
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. in order to handle and lift computer equipment and peripherals
Ability to support a variety of proprietary applications, which scan, code, match, and file fingerprints.
