JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for oversight of construction and facility maintenance projects for a multi-state swine production company with , The position's primary focus is the creation of project vision, manages implementation, reporting and performance of the overall project with the expectation of delivering on time, within a set budget and to scope. Assists senior management with continuous improvement within the maintenance and construction department.

RESPONSIBILITIES
*Oversees construction projects, manages budgets and estimated costs, prepares status reports and project development.
*Responsible for generating all needed information to support, develop and submit appropriations requests (ARs) for projects.
*Propose, design and introduce project options for facility construction and maintenance within the sites to maximize production efficiencies.
*Understands and is knowledgeable of all local, state, and federal laws and regulations including Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
*Creates and encourages a culture of safety, success, and efficiency.
*Builds and maintains collaborative, team-oriented relationships with other functional leaders within the organization for strategic direction and project planning.
*Promotes an environment of continuous process improvement to drive efficiencies, increased accuracy, and stronger decision making
*Collaborate with management to identify improvements that will maximize efficiencies, as well as update on progress
*Manage identification of risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project, escalating these where appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS
*Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, specifically construction projects, executing budgets and project timelines, planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined projects and objectives by management
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
*Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
