The Team
Our Finance team plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimal financial management, and efficient operations across DocuSign. The team consists of Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Revenue Operations, Investor Relations, and Business Operations. The Finance team partners across all organizations in DocuSign to appropriately allocate resources, inform key business decisions, and facilitate the execution of our operational plans.


This Position
As a member of the Finance Shared Services team, the Senior Analyst, Expense & Card will help develop, implement, and facilitate a best-in-class global Expense & Card program. This role serves as the key point of contact and functional resource and will understand, enhance and promote policies and internal controls and pursue continuous improvement for both programs.
The position requires someone with a positive attitude, confident demeanor, and excellent communication skills who is able to manage within tight deadlines and provide a high level of customer service to all internal and external contacts.
This position reports to the Manager, Travel & Expense.


Responsibilities
* Be the Expense & Corporate Card (both T&E and PCard) systems expert and primary functional resource for related systems & programs
* Lead implementation of Concur Detect (AppZen)
* Design and develop changes to existing expense related policies and processes to reduce inefficiencies and scale for growth
* Recommend and establish expense report audit and processing in line with industry best practices
* Recommend enhancements to existing controls to reduce the risk of fraud, duplicate reimbursements and inefficient processes/controls
* Ensure Expense Management and Corporate Card programs & systems meet applicable country taxation and reporting legal requirements
* Ensure that controls are in place and consistently applied in line with recommended internal SOX practices
* Be the subject matter expert during acquisitions, global expansion, cross functional activities and system enhancements/upgrades
* Interface with the ERP payment process
* Seek opportunities for synergy, improvement, simplification and automation of existing processes and reporting across expense related expenditures and pursue continuous improvement
* Design and develop expense-related metrics and reports to inform and influence the decisions of internal clients and business leaders
* Key contact for supplier relationships including quarterly/annual business reviews and all performance metrics
* Collaborate with the finance, treasury and expense teams regularly to ensure alignment, transparency, and systems integration
* Identify problems or inconsistencies in the program and develop appropriate recommendations for resolution.
* Develop and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders
* Facilitate live training sessions and webinars to train employees on policies, tools and resources
* Stay up-to-date on the current state of expense and payment technology and be aware of major changes that affect the marketplace or expense/payment programs in general


Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field or relevant experience
* 3+ years SAP Concur implementation, administration, Intelligence Reporting
* 3+ years relevant corporate credit card program experience including reconciliation tools (expense or card program tools)
* Flexible and able to adapt to shifting priorities and responsibilities and able to thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic, changing environment
* Progressive industry experience and proven ability to influence and drive change
* Excellent Project Management skills
* Working knowledge of financial data, budgets and analysis
* Working knowledge of various corporate travel payment options (ghost cards, corporate cards)
* Demonstrated leadership skills to guide and influence stakeholders
* Exceptional written, interpersonal and communication skills
* Proficiency with MS Office Suite and/or Google Suite required
* Must be able to handle sensitive, private information appropriately
* Sound judgment and the ability to make decisions related to corporate policies


Preferred Qualifications
* Experience implementing expense report audit plan using products like Concur Detect (AppZen) or Concur Audit.
* Oracle ERP integration experience
* Experience leading or participating in the RFP/contracting process
* Proficiency using business intelligence software (Tableau/Qlik/PowerBI)
