UST is looking for an SAP Project Manager.The ideal candidate will have experience in managing SAP projects and will be a key member of our SAP service line. The ideal candidate should have a functional or technical SAP background with the ability to manage large, complex enterprise-class projects effectively.
Overall Experience level:
10+ years of project management experience
SAP project management experience preferred
SAP Commerce Cloud and/or e-commerce project management experience preferred
Bachelor's degree or better preferred
SCP, SAC, IBP integration experience welcomed
Location: This position will be based inUS.
Travel Expectations: up to 80%
Reporting into: SAP CX Practice Lead
Responsibilities:
*Exposure to SAP Migration Methodology and should be able to a participate heavily in the planning discussions
*Management of On-, Near-, and Offshore teams and the ability to work with large, decentralized project teams.
* Familiarity with market leading project accelerators.
*Working with the development and consulting teams to deliver SAP Services and solutions.
*Experience in waterfall and agile project methodologies
*Strong communication skills. Able to discuss in depth technical issues with development and functional teams.
*Serving as trusted advisor to clients to help them meet business needs through innovative solutions.
*The ideal candidate has strong problem management skills and is articulate, punctual, organized and methodical
*Needs to be able to lead client meetings and effectively execute on project deliverables and timelines
Role Proficiency:
Level of Proficiency: Perform end-to-end management of a single or portfolio of projects with TCV 500K - $1Mn in deliverables based or outcome-based model, by delivering the agreed scope, within the agreed timelines and cost.
Fully ensuring the success and acceptance criteria of the project are met and customer satisfaction is enhanced. Outcomes:
1. Identify key stakeholders to ensure establishing and maintaining positive business relationships among stakeholders (internal or external)
2. Maintain regular communication with customer / partner / supplier; addressing needs through empathy with their environment
3.Define activities, responsibilities, critical milestones, resources, skills needs, interfaces and budget. Optimize costs and time utilization, minimise waste and deliver projects on time, and budget as per the contract and agreed scope, with a high quality result.
4.Anticipate all possible risks and manage them by applying the suitable risk management strategy; developing contingency plans.
5.Define and implement the governance model as per the project needs
6.Plan and implement metrics driven management model and quantitatively assess the project health 7.Orchestrate projects to develop or implement new, internal or externally defined processes to meet identified business needs.
8.Effective implementation of software delivery methodologies and instil customer's confidence
9.Build, manage and nurture high performing teams, providing individual and team mentoring, ensuring high levels of team engagement, and developing capabilities within team, ensuring seamless communication and resolving conflicts
10. Adopt and build software engineering best practices which can be leveraged by other teams
