Summary of Job Scope and Expectations:

The Brand Marketing Manager, Restaurant Experienceis responsible for helping to build the look, feel, and attitude that set Panda Express apart as the world's leading fast casual Chinese brand.

The Manager is responsible for ensuring a seamless guest experience through all the paths to purchase within our physical stores. This position develops new ideas and builds the business case for proposed initiatives to improve our guest experience and will work closely with cross-functional partners and vendors to bring these ideas to life. The projects include but are not limited to new packaging graphics, uniform, in-store signage, menu boards, and ambiance elements that together deliver the guest experience.

Descriptions:

* Responsible for helping to build the look, feel, and attitude that sets Panda Express apart as the world's leading fast casual Asian brand. Ensures all assets within our stores are delivered against our brand guidelines.

* Proactively identifies pain points and opportunities across the various paths to purchase to help Panda Express scale for future growth. Draws on both internal & external sources as well as consumer research to define the new ideas for Panda Express.

* Partners with cross-functional teams involving Marketing, Information Systems, Operations, Supply Chain Management, RD, and Finance to lead prototyping and piloting of new ideas to validate the business case and get alignment for rollout.

* Leads cross-functional teams to deploy new ideas across the entire Panda Express system and consistently communicates with Operations to refine plans as needed.

* Creates effective messaging for communicating the brand to internal and external customers within the store. Monitors the guest experience and ensures consistent brand position.

* Maintains a repository of all marketing collateral live across all Panda Express stores to ensure Restaurant Experience team has a clear understanding of our total guest experience across the system.

Job Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field required, MBA preferred

* Minimum five years of directly applicable marketing and brand development experience with increasing managerial experience, preferably in a nationally branded retail/hospitality environment,

* Successful completion of annual store training.
