Job Summary

As a Technical Recruiter you will support theHuman ResourcesDepartmentin identifying, screening, and acquiring the most qualified and talented employees to staff positions.The Technical Recruiter will be responsible for providing full lifecycle recruiting, research, sourcing, and preliminary screening ofactiveand passivecandidate's. The Technical Recruiter willalso support Business Development in staffing and providing qualified candidates for future opportunities. The Technical Recruiter will also provide market research and analysis to company stakeholders as needed.

Specific Responsibilities


  • Review Request for Proposal (RFP), Statements of Work (SOW), and/or Performance Work Statements (PWS) and create a qualification matrix for applicable labor categories.

  • Create job announcement for designated career boards, social media sites, and other possible sources.

  • Assist in the management of the company's social media sites.

  • Source candidates accordingly utilizing all available recruitment tools.

  • Review applications/ resumes against the assigned position description.

  • Call all deemed "qualified" candidates to perform preliminary phone interview.

  • Keep accurate record of all interviewed candidates, (notes should be compliant with all rules and regulations of interviewing through EEOC, DOL, etc.).

  • Screen candidates to ensure clearance is active and work with designated Security Officer to ensure that clearance is considered applicable to position standards.

  • Attend job fairs/ career placement workshops etc. as it supports the recruitment strategy for Obsidian Solutions Group.

  • Attend meetings both on and off site.

  • Work with BusinessDevelopmentand Contracts Managerson proposals.

  • Format resumes as needed.

Qualifications


  • Associatesdegree and three years of recruiting experience or five years' experience with specialized training.

  • The preferred candidate will be a graduate of a formal recruiting school.

  • Must have a good understanding of the basic recruiting skills.

  • AIRS Certification highly preferred (PRC, CSSR, CSMR).

  • Must have a basic understanding of OFCCP, EEO and other compliance requirements.

  • Excellent administrative experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Possess the ability to learn and work with various software applications.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work withtheminimum of supervision on independent projects (good initiative, self-starter).

  • Proficient problem-solving ability must possess the ability to exercise sound judgment in handling difficult or unusual situations.

  • Ability to comprehend technically complex written and verbal instructions.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment


  • Normal office environment.

  • Domestictravel may be required as duties demand.
