You are a service oriented self-starter who has a minimum of 5 years of experience working in hazardous waste treatment and disposal field operations.
Position Snapshot
The Business Development Manager creates, builds, and maintains relationships with current and potential customers, local operations, and sales. Develops and implements sales and marketing strategies that grow services and executes initiatives for both revenue and earnings growth. Evaluates information to forecast the return on future business transactions. Designs and determines terms of business agreement and project proposals.
Day in the Life
Each day will bring a new experience. After your morning beverage you may:
Visit customer locations to analyze jobs and assist in sales presentations
Manage preparation of RFP responses for field service, lab pack and HHW opportunities
Interact with customers, sales, and customer service to ensure the timely flow of information
Support operations and sales by preparing and providing technical job estimates
Maintain reports on bid opportunities utilizing CRM
Provide operational support for various projects and new initiatives
What you need to apply
Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, a related field, or an equivalent combinations of education and experience
5+ years of experience in transportation, recycling, hazardous waste treatment and disposal, chemistry, or a related industry.
Working knowledge of RCRA, DOT, TSCA and other applicable regulations
Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
Preferred: Experience working as an Environmental Technician, Driver, or Lab pack Chemist.
Preferred: Two years + sales background
