Senior Global Sourcing Manger - Business Process Outsourcing
This role manages global purchasing categories for outsourced business services, with primary focus on strategy creation (transformational strategies) and execution to deliver long term competitive advantage by maximizing value for money, driving efficiencies in service delivery and protecting the business from risk. The person in this role will manage global or regional initiatives by leveraging supplier relationships and strategic partnerships to drive standardization and automation across regions and categories where feasible. Contributes to thought leadership and works collaboratively with a large number of cross functional partners to develop and implement sourcing strategies and standards, and in order to embed sourcing strategies, apply key commercial signature processes (e.g. responsible sourcing, supplier performance relationship management, etc...)
The role plays a key role in driving global senior leader stakeholder engagement and strategic alignment across different stakeholder groups. The role has also a key role with representing MGS Commercial and acting as a strategic business partner for appointed members of the MGS Leadership Team.

The role is global and its impact spans across Mars Global Services Procurement. This role creates and implements Strategy and Supplier Relationship Programs for a global category.
The role has to work within current existing regional and global frameworks, understanding of impact of third-party resources on local, regional and global Mars businesses, while limiting Mars' exposure to risk, consulting, educating and managing Clients on best practice for procurement and contracting and creating long term solutions.
The role requires excellent global client and supplier management within often local and regional decision-making processes, requiring solid judgment, clarity and comfort dealing with ambiguity. The role requires a solid commercial network, both within MGS Commercial, to deploy strategy through the Buying Team (non-direct reports) as well as other Mars indirect teams.
