Responsible for supporting the administering, tracking and processing of background checks, drug testing, motor vehicle reports and other pre-employment requests as required. Assist in the tracking and scheduling of Operator Qualification training as well as assist Compliance team with ad hoc audits and reports and other tasks.PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
Coordinates client requirement with appropriate internal personnel to ensure responsive and acceptable compliance standards and policies.
Maintains training records and enrolls Inspectors in Operator Qualification training.
Timely preparation and maintenance of compliance reports, databases, memos, and control metrics.
Coordinates Inspector Drug and Alcohol program.
Maintains Drug and Alcohol records, monitors results and submits quarterly and annual drug testing for Inspectors.
Submit employee motor vehicle reports and background checks, when required.
Respond to employee, peer, departmental and client inquiries via phone and email.
Support recruitment efforts for all inspector and non-inspector personnel, contractors and temporary employees.
Provide timely and thorough updates to project manager/project team on specific areas of responsibilities within current projects.
Reply to general information requests with timely and accurate information.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Currently pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Law Enforcement, Business or other related discipline required.
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate across functional lines.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Productive work habits including attention to detail, follow through and the ability to prioritize and complete work activities in an efficient and effective manner.
Self-thinker able to work through issues and escalate only when appropriate.
Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
Knowledge of Excel and Windows at a beginner to intermediate level.
