Job Description:

Breckenridge Grand Vacations is looking for an experienced, high performing Marketing Technology Manager to join our Marketing team! This position is responsible for leading the selection, implementation and maintenance of necessary marketing systems, applications and integrations needed to enable a seamless and optimal customer communication experience from initial collection of customer data through purchase, owner upsell and referral. This position works across a multi-channel marketing group to provide systems to support new strategic initiatives, as well as evaluate, produce, and improve already-established programs and processes.

Marketing Technology Manager Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)



  • Develop, lead, and execute results-driven applications and integrations for tour-generating and operational initiatives.

    • Lead a team in the execution of marketing and innovation initiatives within defined budgets and timelines. Develop and manage MarTech best practices across all marketing platforms.

    • Ability to bring disparate systems together through automation and innovation to build a comprehensive marketing environment. Lead future initiatives; improve website performance and presence, responsive site development, CRM integration, behavioral tracking, digital personalization, reservation portal creation, and future site development.

    • Facilitate and manage the various vendor(s) connectors used in the entire customer journey, process, and storage operations and customize the flow of data to align with the needs of BGV.

    • Be the systems and integrations expert for all Customer database applications: CRM, TSW integration, Rollapoll, Gravity Forms, Sql, and Azure. Troubleshooting where necessary to fix and optimize systems.

    • Analyze current marketing technology, identify gaps & opportunities, and make marketing technology and system recommendations. Provide feedback on exploratory products stakeholders may be inquiring about.

    • Be a compliance liaison with the Compliance Manager and guide staff on proper practice regarding data compliance / security.

    • Develop a thorough understanding of all customer lifecycles and communication processes at BGV enabling the ability to create, enhance and troubleshoot to acquire, nurture, maintain and grow customer and partnership relationships through all stages of the sales and marketing cycles.

    • Work with Marketing Team, BGV IT Department and BGV Operations managers to implement necessary systems, processes, and integrations to enable and optimize multi-channel customer contact strategies throughout the entire customer journey.

    • Translate functional requirements into technical requirements.

    • Responsible for delivering customer insights and marketing data to analysts from marketing systems. Work with CRM Marketing Specialists and Coordinator to ensure campaigns are set up with necessary tracking to provide customer and campaign insights.

    • Work with IT and software vendors to continually implement and optimize necessary functionality to support a seamless customer experience. Work with IT to setup and maintain necessary API’s to access customer data for CRM Marketing.

    • Be a driver of software implementation to meet business needs for the marketing department. Work with managers and stakeholders to maintain implementation roadmap and re-prioritize as needed to remain aligned with team and company goals.

    • Responsible for documentation for all technical systems, data flow, SOP’s, etc.

    • Create and execute testing plans as needed to release new creations and optimizations to production environment.

    • Work with CRM Marketing and other stakeholders to enable complex, targeted, integrated marketing campaigns to come to life across all areas of the customer journey.

    • Enable and improve the use of preference centers, progressive profiling, AB testing and automation.

    • Manage existing processes through measurement systems and identify opportunities to systematically improve quality, speed, capacity, and efficiency, leveraging automation wherever possible.




  • Manage MarTech staff and follow the Results Leadership operating procedures when recruiting, hiring, training, retaining, developing, coaching, scheduling, reviewing, disciplining, and terminating staff. Develop marketing technology roadmap, priorities, resource need, and KPIs for success.

    • Provide guidance and support and be a team leader.

    • Ensure all training is thorough, occurring on a regular basis, conducted in a manner that drives results and ensures consistent staff knowledge and performance. Assist with training as needed. 

    • Delegate daily work tasks and projects and check the work of all staff to ensure quality control. Ensure staff is productive.     

    • Work with staff to resolve issues, always considering what the guest or owner deems appropriate. Handle any guest or owner that the staff is unable to assist.  Consult with department managers on issues, as needed.

    • Perform staff evaluations and coaching meetings. Provide feedback and coach employees on ways to improve their performances and establish goals.  Follow up with employees to evaluate progress and ensure improvement.

    • Respond to staff questions and inquiries pertaining to resort policies and services.

    • Establish, communicate, and reinforce Company policies, procedures, and standards with the staff.

    • Monitor staff performance and measurable results and manage to individual performance.

    • Keep accurate staff performance records to ensure job performance accountability.  Handle and track all staff tardiness, sick days, and absenteeism.

 


Required Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Marketing or a related role. Master's Degree preferred.

  • 3+ years of related work experience in a digital and/or technology management role.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of tech management, including research methodology and design (basic measurement and statistics) and innovation and efficiency enhancements.

  • Strong analytic skills and knowledge of the digital performance ecosystem and drivers.

  • Experience executing technical solutions across various channels directly or with team members or third-party agencies.

  • Strong business acumen with core competency in translating insight into compelling business plans and initiatives.
