PLANNING PRACTICE - HOUSING TEAM
We create, integrate, visualize, and communicate planning concepts as they move from the initial vision through implementation. Our planning professionals build strong client partnerships, working with residents, businesses, developers, educational and medical organizations, state and local governments, the military and other federal agencies to successfully plan the future of their communities or institutions. We are currently seeking an energetic and personable intermediate-level Planner to serve local and regional clients and contribute to the overall team environment as part of Michael Baker International's Northern California Housing Team. You will be joining a group of collaborative, passionate, and client-driven housing professionals. The ideal candidate will support team members as they thrive professionally and cultivate new and existing client relationships for our services. This position will focus on both supporting existing lines of work and bringing in new lines of housing-related planning work, including housing policy programs, grant management, affordable housing program implementation and management, community engagement, and housing studies. Your focus will be to assist the Housing Team leadership with the growth in two primary team locations, in Rancho Cordova and Oakland.
