DH Pace Company, aspires to hire an experienced full time warehouse worker/delivery driver in our Kent, WA location. This individual must be able to keep all aspects of the warehouse running smoothly and able to shift gears and priorities quickly. The position will be held accountable for maintaining a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse/shop as tasks are performed. This position will handle all warehouse responsibilities, including shipping/receiving ordered materials, stocking inventory, maintaining parts inventory levels, loading/unloading materials and trucks, safely operating the forklift and other equipment, and occasional deliveries to and from job sites. In addition, this individual must have experience driving delivery and/or service vehicles including large box trucks and will be responsible for ensuring materials are loaded and delivered to job sites on time. Job Responsibilities:

Warehouse:

• Maintaining parts inventory


• Receiving and shipping ordered material


• Stocking inventory


• Replenish service vehicles


• Other duties may be assigned

Loading and Delivering:

• Receive materials from warehouse stock area or obtain materials from staging area; compare product/material quantities to delivery tickets ensuring no discrepancies.


• Check materials prior to loading and unloading for damage.


• Ensure materials are properly loaded and secured thereby minimizing damage during transportation.


• Develop product knowledge to ensure correct materials are loaded and taken to job site.


• Ensure that all delivery tickets and time sheets are completed, signed and submitted accurately on a daily basis to ensure that all tickets get billed to the customer and all time sheets reach the payroll department before cutoff.


• Complete delivery log on a daily basis and submit with delivery tickets to manager at end of day.


• Receive COD payments from customers; obtain appropriate signatures to verify delivery and acceptance of materials delivered.


• Maintain logs and monthly mileage reports in Company vehicles.


• Remain knowledgeable of department of transportation regulations and follow them accordingly.


• Follow established credit and collection policy and procedure.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required


• Must be able to safely lift 70 lbs.


• Must be at least 21 years of age


• Must be able to drive a manual transmission


• Must be able to obtain a DOT card


• Must have experience driving delivery vehicles including large trucks


• Must have excellent customer service skills


• Effectively communicate with internal and external customers and represent the company in a professional manner
