Infosys is seeking a Hadoop/Kafka Developer who has hands-on experience in Hadoop ecosystem, i.e. Cloudera, Spark, Scala etc. The candidate selected will need to have experience with design and implementation of ETL/ELT framework for complex warehouses/marts. Will be working with large data sets and responsible for performance tuning and troubleshooting. Willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems is a plus.
 
Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Phoenix, AZ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US and Canada.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required, we are not able to sponsor at this time.

 
Preferred Qualifications:
• At least 3+ years of strong hands-on experience in Big Data Platforms- CLoudera, S3
 • At least 2 years of experience in Event based architecture & messaging framework ( Confluent Kafka, KSQL, Kafka Connect)
• At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects on data base platform ( SQL Server)
• At least 2 years of experience in Design and architecture review.
• Background in all aspects of software engineering with strong skills in parallel data processing, data flows, Java,  Springboot, RestAPI, Kafka Stream
• Experience with design and implementation of ETL/ELT framework for complex warehouses/marts
• Working experience on cloud infrastructure( AWS) & Kubernetes/Docker is an added advantage
• Hands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
• Knowledge of Financial Domain, & Real time Payment network is an added advantage
• Work exposure in Agile projects.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Analytical skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
 
 
The job may entail extensive travel.  The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.  Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
