Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking a Leader - Master Planner & Logistics for our facility in Fort Mill, SC. This position will be responsible for tracking benchmarking and long-term optimization of internal and external supply chain functions. This includes perfect order fullfillment cycle time, supply chain managment cost, cost of goods sold, and cash-to-cash cycle time. This position is also responsible for the automotive warehouses across the region; shipping and receiving functions- coordination with customer and suppliers on material delivery.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Support plants across the region
  
  
• Participate in regional plant meetings
  
  
• Report out regional regional key indicators (inventory, freight, etc...)
  
  
• Monitor regional inventory
  
  
• Develop regional material flow concepts
  
  
• Optimize forecast process
  
  
• Develop inter-plant methods/processes for conducting supply chain meetings (preparation, agenda, procedure, corrective action documentation, action controlling)
  
  
• Travel Domestically and internationally
  
  

• Bachelors degree,preferable in Logistics or related field
• SAP & Microsoft Office experience
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication ability (written & verbal)
• Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results
• Constructive assertiveness and conflict management
• Superior knowledge of Processes and Procedure of complete Supply Chain methods and instruments
• Superior knowledge of the automotive manufacturing industry with general knowledge of OEM/ EDI systems
• Knowledge of QS9000 and TS16949 quality systems
• Must be able to read blueprints, routings, and shop orders
• Analytic thinking and judgment capacities
• Capability for evaluating, presenting, and applying complex technical and logical topics
• 10 plus years in logistics and planning
• APICS CSPC certified (Supply Chain Professional Certification)
• Knowledge of MRP, Pull Production, JIT, KANBAN and 5S principles
