NewRez is seeking Manager of Analytics to help manage and contribute to our Analytics team and help them deliver deep and valuable insights to our Operations, Sales, Support and Executive Teams. As the Manager of Analytics you will leverage your excellent communication skills, creative thinking and problem solving skills, and analytic ability to:

Responsibilities:

• Manage a small team of analysts who support various functions throughout the company.


• Partner with Business Channel Leaders and develop new business strategies, based on analytic research, that streamlines current operating practices.


• Demonstrate strong communication and listening skills, focused on conveying new ideas to performance managers and understanding potential obstacles to implementation.


• Clearly present ideas and findings to a varied audience including the business line staff and senior management.


• Ability not just to guide the team but jump in and do the work when necessary.

Qualifications/Skills:

• 2+ years managing analytic staff within the financial services industry.


• Strong business communication skills with an ability to work well in a collaborative environment.


• Strong attention to detail.


• Skilled in Excel (graphs, pivot tables, formulas) and other Microsoft Office tools.


• Extensive experience with SQL, preferably T-SQL.


• Experience visualizing data in Tableau/Power BI/R/Python.


• Fast learner - able to assimilate new ideas and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or better with proven success in Analytics


• 2+ years managing analytic staff within the financial services industry.


• 5+ years of financial services analytics experience, mortgage origination preferred.
