Job Description:

G&J Pepsi-Cola has a unique and exciting, paid Physical/Cyber Security Internship located in either Columbus or Cincinnati, Ohio. The length of the internship is dependent upon class schedule but will tentatively start in May 2021 and end in July 2021. The intern will assist with various projects, activities and events within the Digital Technology and Business Transformation Teams. The intern will help develop, design, shape, and transform the existing physical security systems located at several our facilities and ensure the new platform is fully integrated into Azure Active Directory and other IT systems. The intern will partner with business partners and other Digital Technology and Business Transformation resources to identify key processes, stakeholders, and requirements to implement a new security platform.

SUMMARY:

The Physical/Cyber Security Intern will support the Enterprise Business Systems team with creating, documenting and implementing the process and systems to meet business requirements. This role requires collaboration with HR, Warehouse, Operations, Digital and Process personnel to develop these solutions. The solution must be fully integrated with existing HR and Digital systems in order to facilitate a robust, safe system to protect G&J and its employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:


  • Identify business requirements associated with implementing a new platform
  • Adhere and champion standards in designs that facilitate an integrated solution
  • Fully integrate with existing systems like Azure Active Directory, Intune, and Meraki
  • Participate in design meetings and collaborate with the project team
  • Identify the voice of the customer and process needs of each facility
  • Develop working digital product to support and protect the physical location of the install
  • Present work to internal partners, supervisors, and members of senior leadership
  • Other duties as assigned by the Digital Technology and Business Transformation Team

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:


  • Willing to think outside of the box while championing the needs of the customer
  • High degree of creativity and proven problem-solving ability
  • Desire to expand and learn prototyping or user research skills
  • Exposure to systems such as Azure Active Directory, Intune, Process Improvement, Sequr, Meraki etc.
  • Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Working to obtain a degree from an accredited two- or four-year college in cyber security, Information Systems or Computer Science.

• Earning a minimum 3.0 GPA or 2.8 GPA with active student leadership/community involvement.

• Willing to participate in a variety of projects and the ability to attend business meetings and community events, which will enrich the learning experience.
