The F5 NGINX Business Unit is searching for a Senior User Experience Researcher to join us remotely via Seattle, Washington, or San Francisco, California. join us out of one of our following office locations: Seattle, Washington, San Francisco, California, or remotely. You will play an integral role in our team, working closely our internal and external partners to identify areas of research opportunity, develop research studies, and facilitate the discovery of insights that helps us build new areas of our business and to validate existing ideas and hypotheses that helps us evolve and and mature our solutions.

Position Summary:

As one of our most senior researchers, you will demonstrate the value of including diverse voices to build a cohesive visual design vision and bring a compelling customer experience to life. You will demonstrate your user-centric attitude to provide thought leadership by leveraging your user-centric attitude to drive measurable value for our enterprise solutions. As a hands-on researcher and leader, you know how to combine qualitative and quantitative methodologies to help ignite innovation and use creative problem-solving to deliver world-class solutions.

Responsibilities:


  • Help define and build a research practice that creates new value for NGINX, its perspectives and current partners, and its clients.


  • Help define and build an internal research group that conducts qualitative research to uncover what is meaningful to F5 NGINXusers and businesses and seeks usability validation.


  • Oversee interdisciplinary teams throughout the research phase, including strategy, concepting, definition, conceptualization, and execution including multiple. touchpoints


  • Directly manage existing team members responsible research


  • Lead cross-functional teams through the analysis and synthesis of all the research (primary and secondary, qualitative and quantitative) to draw out insights and needs finding.


  • Oversee the work of the research team, including contractors, and agency resources.


  • Represents research in exploratory meetings that could assist in generating leads on new business.


  • Collaborate cross-functionally with individuals and clients to see opportunities, develop new products, shape ideas, and deliver solutions.


  • Partner with internal clients to scope out projects and create plans that allow teams to innovate within business categories.


  • Help drive big picture strategies within businesses or through across our business unit.


  • Seek out opportunities and innovative techniques by having an entrepreneurial spirit.

  • Ability to step back and "connect the dots" between users, business needs, the industry landscape, and future trends.


  • Ability to identify and focus and prioritize on important versus urgent, see the bigger picture.


  • Prioritize work to ensure and solve for the greatest impact.
