Payroll Operations Partner, US at PPG INDUSTRIES INC

Job Description:

As a Payroll Operations Partner , you will be working in Payroll Operations supporting processing, controlling, balancing and maintaining compliance with all payroll data verification and administration for the United States. You work collaboratively with all aspects of People Operations/HR on Payroll and Compensation issues. Would you like to support the businesses and payroll functions in PPG? If so, read on!
Key Responsibilities


  • Calculating gross and net pay amounts (e.g., salary, overtime, shift payments, sales commissions, bonuses, deferred compensation, benefits, tax withholdings, deductions, payroll liabilities, etc.).
  • Payroll-specific records maintenance (changes in wage/salary rates; pension, insurance, mandatory deductions; new hires, terminations, leave of absence, etc.), in addition to, audit and ensure payroll legislation compliance.
  • Reconciliation of payroll records, including all earnings and deductions; and, processing off cycle pay activity, including annual bonus for the entire US population.

Qualifications


  • BS/BA Degree, preferably in Business, Accounting or Finance; and,
  • Minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience.
  • Experience with Workday Payroll and MS Excel including formulas and V-lookups.
