HOW YOU WILL IMPACT OUR TEAM:
Responsible for the overall integrity of revenue and related controls. Reviews monthly company reports required for financial reporting, internally and externally to ensure completeness and accuracy. Assists other members of the accounting department and within the company in identifying/researching account transactions.
Reports to the Controller.
This is a temporary role.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
Assists in the day to day activities and month end process to insure the integrity of the Revenue. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Verifies the accuracy of revenue on daily basis, analyzes revenues to insure they are recorded appropriately.
Preparation of variance analysis to assist with resolution of discrepancies, Compiles data and prepares a variety of reports, Investigates questionable data.
Resolves revenue related issues and follow-up on outstanding items.
Prepare monthly reconciliations, reconciles records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors.
Perform revenue accounting and reporting activities on a quarterly basis
Assist in development of revenue recognition policies according to company procedures and regulations.
Assist in financial audits and implement audit recommendations.
Assist in reviewing and recommending improvements to current revenue recognition strategies.
Provide assistance and conduct job trainings on revenue to team when required.
Responsible for insuring that all activities are documented properly so that we are J-Sox compliant.
Responsible for accounting projects that will be assigned from time to time.
