Based out of our Americas Head Office in Dallas Fort Worth, the purpose of this role is to lead and manage recruitment policies, procedures, and practices across all locations in the US and Canada.
The role will manage team members across the region, playing a meaningful role in nurturing and selecting top talent to drive the growth of our business. We’re seeking an people manager, who will also be a strategic advisor to business leaders and human resource partners in the region and globally. You will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Director on the development and execution of the TA strategy for hiring across the region. A leader in this role will find opportunities to innovate and drive strategic initiatives (including diversity hiring, pathway and technical recruiting programs) to deliver against workforce plans.
Primary Accountabilities and Duties:
Leading and developing the TA team responsible for recruitment for the assigned business; deep focus on coaching and mentoring while serving as a leader-teacher
Fostering a culture of innovation, strategy, and delivery excellence through strong business acumen, deep recruiting expertise, a commitment to learning
Developing solutions and strategies to deliver TA priorities for the business through deep understanding of the current and future state of talent needs
Leveraging TA operations and analytics capability to enable the team to influence stakeholders to make data driven hiring decisions
Working with strategic partners to drive diversity hiring and create new pathways to build pipeline
Improving assessment, selection, the hiring process and candidate experience and working with the leaders across the business to train hiring managers and interviewing teams
Ensure that recruitment practices are aligned to ensure that local, state and federal requirements are met
Ensure that all recruitment and retention policies, processes and procedures are aligned to Menzies Aviation and industry standards

Keep abreast of labor trends; know where the best supply of talent is in the marketplace.
Analyze recruiting trends, best sources, and recruiting metrics on when and where to target talent.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required if proven relevant experience exists
Experience within aviation, logistics or the service sector strongly preferred
Previous experience in recruiting for high-volume entry-level talent competitive position
Ability to oversee a large team and provide strategic and effective leadership
Strong report writing and record keeping ability
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Must have advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Must have ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to inspire trust and confidence with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels as well as working cross-functionally with senior management
