POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Analytics Senior Advisor will lead data management, analysis, data modeling and forecasting relating to managing the risk within the drug supply chain that influences $2 billion in procurement spend by GPA subsidiary of Express Scripts. As a Business Analytics Senior Advisor, you will primarily support in developing predictive models, comprehensive risk assessment tools and financial models to identify high-risk products and vendors and implement strategies to mitigate risk and ensure supply consistency. Further, the Business Analytics Senior Advisor will develop and maintain effective relationships within strategic drug sourcing, sourcing leadership, IT, GPO participant leadership, ESI Home Delivery Sites, Wholesalers and Brand/Generic Manufacturers. In addition, this position will also support sourcing leadership in developing strategic opportunities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • Maintain and refine risk management tool using state of the art analytical tools such as predictive modelling and AI.

  • Risk analysis, forecasting, predictive modelling and data mining for risk mitigation and business development opportunities

  • Strategy development support - Models, trending and analysis

  • Business Development support - Models, trending and analysis

  • Contracting support from a risk perspective

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • 3-5 years experience in Supply Chain, Business, or related field

  • Masters Degree preferred

  • Excellent PC skills including application development experience within a Microsoft Office environment using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, VBA and SQL Server. Python, R and other AI/machine language proficiency

  • Strong data management and technical skills

  • Analytical, highly organized, able to work with little supervision, motivated to successfully meet deadlines, attention to detail and ability to multi-task

  • Team leadership and management experience

  • Excellent Communication skills, oral and written
