The Environmental Department Manager will support the Environmental Services aspects of our Building and Construction business throughout the Intermountain West.
Duties:
Manage clients, staff, and projects ranging from small to large scale complex scope of work.
Lead the sales process to include development and implementation of sales plans utilizing Business Development Manager(s) and project manager staff.
esponsible for overseeing multi-discipline consulting services including, but not limited to environmental site assessments, subsurface investigations, remediation design and implementation, Voluntary Cleanup sites, industrial hygiene (indoor air quality, asbestos, lead, mold, etc.) and more.
esponsible for managing staff, including scheduling, personnel hiring, mentorship and training, and regular performance reviews, etc.
esponsible for managing and reporting all financial aspects of the department on a monthly basis.
esponsible for managing the internal Project Management process for preparing and submitting environmental consulting proposals and reports according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
Requirements:
S in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Industrial Hygiene is required.
Professional registration/certification is preferred (P.G., P.E., CHMM, CIH, CSP).
10+ years of related office management experience and growth.
Knowledge of state of Colorado and Utah statutes and experience in their funded programs a plus.
Experience in preparing public sector (city, county, and state) submittals and managing associated projects required.
Must be able to multiple task with staff, clients, project deadlines, and assignments.
Must be able to perform tasks in varying field/office conditions
Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite
Must have knowledge of remedial applications (insitu, traditional, innovative, etc.), design implementation, and system operation and maintenance.
Must have client experience and be able to interact and build relationships with clients.
