The Senior Manager, Corporate Real Estate, will provide workplace strategy and facilities management services for offices and transportation facilities throughout XPO's portfolio. This position will support the Corporate Real Estate department, and interface with office managers, business unit leaders, design and engineering consultants, contractors, landlords, and service providers to ensure high-quality real estate services in support of business operations. What you'll do on a typical day:


  • Support XPO's global real estate portfolio, including lease administration, coordination of maintenance, repair, security and construction activities, and site compliance

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures for facilities management for all Corporate offices

  • Oversee Corporate office projects, including space planning and workplace configuration

  • Manage real estate service contracts and vendors to ensure high-quality, cost-effective services

  • Manage real estate tools such as IWMS, CMMS, and others to drive data driven real estate decisions

  • Manage physical security services and vendors throughout portfolio

  • Support Director, Construction PMO, on project management for new buildouts, renovations, and other capital projects

  • Prepare and review budgets, financial reports (monthly and quarterly), contracts, expenditures and purchase orders related to real estate operations

  • Collect, analyze and report statistical data as may be required to provide accurate and current assessment of occupancy, space utilization, facility expense and other facility management objectives

  • Lead efforts on opening and closing facilities, as required


What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience

  • 5 years of workplace strategy and/or facilities/office management on a national or global basis

  • Strong Fluency user of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint


It'd be great if you also have:

  • 10 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Demonstrated group presentation skills and excellent negotiation skills to deal effectively with individuals and groups within and outside the organization

  • Establishes and maintains effective, collaborative work relationships

  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively supervise, coach and influence employees
