Job Description:

The Collateral Valuations Transformation Business Analysis Manager drives strategic business driven initiatives with technology components. An ability to work in a team driven environment is critical to this role as they will be a senior member of a larger Collateral Valuations Transformation team. Individuals in this role will need to possess extensive project management skills and be disciplined in multiple areas of home loan processes. Along with a foundational knowledge of processes and technology systems, this role will lead initiatives, manage budgeting, and prepare implementation plans along with business partners and loan product owners/pillars. This Business Analysis Manager will create, monitor and oversee applicable metrics and controls. The business and technology initiatives this role will be engaged in are broad reaching across Home Lending.

Job Requirements


  • 5+ years Home Lending experience required
  • 2+ years Project or Process Management experience required
  • 2+ years prior management experience required
  • Ability to work in a fast paced / multi-tasking environment
  • Functional knowledge of key Chase Home Lending systems (Mortgage Express, Empower, and/or MSP) along with involvement in previous technology projects required
  • Extensive experience in developing and/or writing detailed business requirements and user acceptance testing for delivery preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of loan service industry in areas of investor, insurer, regulatory and state requirements

Skillset Requirements

  • Ability to operate in a collaborative and cooperative environment, and must possess the strong interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with colleagues at various levels of the organization
  • Ability to plan, organize and guide a project from inception through multiple timeline milestones all the way to completion
  • Proficiency within the Microsoft Office suite (MS Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, etc.) and previous experience with JIRA preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Expresses thoughts and ideas clearly and concisely
  • Independent logical problem solver; analytical ability to synthesize data and project outcomes
  • Subject matter expertise against multiple disciplines. Considered an influencer amongst stakeholders and within peer groups
  • Maintains the highest standards of honesty, fairness and ethics. Will be exposed to confidential information

Key Role Expectations

  • Lead and participate in strategic and operational planning sessions
  • Provides recommendations to improve operational systems, processes and policies to achieve key business objectives.
  • Evaluates and resolves high priority or complex problems through communication and partnership with other internal departments and vendors.
  • Keeps stakeholders and team informed of key business information, issues, decisions and actions
  • Helps to communicate and implement changes in scope within the team, ensuring clear direction and timelines are captured
  • Partner with product teams to balance feature benefits against level of effort to develop solutions
  • Ensures that documentation and records are properly processed, maintained and secured
  • Ensure external dependencies are understood by key business partners
  • Assist with technical feasibility, release coordination, deployment and quality as needed
  • Collaboratively define and document opportunities with initiative implementation practices
  • Foster cross-team coordination and communication
