Job Description:

The Customer Life Events team is responsibility for providing extraordinary support to customers impacted by life events including; marriage, divorce, and death. Assistance includes supporting third parties and customers through the successor in interest, assumption, name change, property ownership changes, and mortgage assistance modification and assumption for their mortgage and home equity account.

Business Description

As an MB Assumptions Processing Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of Specialists who process (Assumptions/Name Change,Successor in interest, property ownership changes, and mortgage assistance modification and assumption for their mortgage and home equity account) requested by a customer or third party. Support includes workflow management, quality control and adherence to defined processes. Ongoing coaching and development of Specialists is a key area of responsibility.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (in order of importance

• Manage dedicated group of analysts focused on assumption processing

• Manage a high volume of routes and requests while maintaining SLA

• Define monitor and report key operational metrics; implement and manage balanced scorecards at the employee team and department levels

• Lead coach delegate and mentor staff

• Adhere to Human Resource policies and procedures for the department which includes but is not limited to hiring training performance evaluation merit review performance counseling and compensation

• Create and monitor individual and department objectives

• Support upper level management reporting and initiatives as requested

• Oversee the processing and reporting of work following strict departmental procedures standards deadlines and internal/external regulations

• Monitor volume and work produced to ensure employee schedules do not allow for missed SLAs.

• Manage projects and initiatives related improvement of processes customer and employee experience

Knowledge and Experience

• Knowledge of MSP, MBWS, SCM, HomePort and EPIC preferred

• 2+ years operations management experience

• 2+ Prior experience in a mortgage servicing role preferred

• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop employees for performance excellence

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• (Assumptions) A minimum of 1 year experience in an underwriting or loan processing roll
