GreenStruxure is a partnership bringing together Schneider Electric's industry leading expertise in renewable energy microgrids and Huck Capital's sustainability-focused investments, launched in September 2020 to deliver energy-as-a-service solutions to commercial and industrial medium-sized buildings in the U.S. This partnership is simplifying and accelerating the market adoption of microgrids, offering an innovative outcome-based alternative for building owners and operators who want sustainable, cost-effective, resilient, onsite energy delivered to them hassle-free as a service by specialists with no upfront capital expenses or operational risks.
This is a remote position, but candidate should be located in the Northeast US and be able to travel to construction sites as needed.
Job Summary
Coordination of construction activities; management of staffing to ensure on time completion.
Coordination of permitting for projects.
Coordinate with Commercial Team and engineering to develop preliminary design budget.
Prepare bid packages and procure materials and services as needed.
Provides constructability input into the design that optimizes the field construction effort.
Responsible for management and coordination of deliveries for construction for the projects to maximize productivity and maintain schedule.
Develops contingency and recovery plans as required.
Monitors equipment performance and utilization; provides continuous improvement input and strategy development.
Responsible for safety of supervised personnel; ensures that personnel comply with established safety policies and procedures, and has front line responsibility for providing a safe work environment
Perform regular check-ins with job superintendents to gauge project progress.
Serve as point-of-contact for customers/clients during each project.
Provide progress reports and other status updates to client and management as required.
Maintaining records and databases
Troubleshooting issues relating to installations
Provide support during commissioning and Star Up activities
Represent GreenStruxure in a professional and responsible manner when communicating with stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS:
10 years renewable project management experience including projects of at least 500 kW
Experience in construction operations
Experience and understanding of Distributed Generation Solar projects
NABCEP PV Installation professional certification preferred
Solid understanding of Project Management process
Ability to problem solve both personnel issues and project issues
Good record keeping and organizational skills
Ability to travel regionally, depending on project location
Requires knowledge of construction techniques and equipment in order to develop strategies and manage overall quality and efficiency to ensure daily production.
