Job Description:

GreenStruxure is a partnership bringing together Schneider Electric's industry leading expertise in renewable energy microgrids and Huck Capital's sustainability-focused investments, launched in September 2020 to deliver energy-as-a-service solutions to commercial and industrial medium-sized buildings in the U.S. This partnership is simplifying and accelerating the market adoption of microgrids, offering an innovative outcome-based alternative for building owners and operators who want sustainable, cost-effective, resilient, onsite energy delivered to them hassle-free as a service by specialists with no upfront capital expenses or operational risks.

This is a remote position, but candidate should be located in the Northeast US and be able to travel to construction sites as needed.

Job Summary


  • Coordination of construction activities; management of staffing to ensure on time completion.
  • Coordination of permitting for projects.
  • Coordinate with Commercial Team and engineering to develop preliminary design budget.
  • Prepare bid packages and procure materials and services as needed.
  • Provides constructability input into the design that optimizes the field construction effort.
  • Responsible for management and coordination of deliveries for construction for the projects to maximize productivity and maintain schedule.
  • Develops contingency and recovery plans as required.
  • Monitors equipment performance and utilization; provides continuous improvement input and strategy development.
  • Responsible for safety of supervised personnel; ensures that personnel comply with established safety policies and procedures, and has front line responsibility for providing a safe work environment
  • Perform regular check-ins with job superintendents to gauge project progress.
  • Serve as point-of-contact for customers/clients during each project.
  • Provide progress reports and other status updates to client and management as required.
  • Maintaining records and databases
  • Troubleshooting issues relating to installations
  • Provide support during commissioning and Star Up activities
  • Represent GreenStruxure in a professional and responsible manner when communicating with stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10 years renewable project management experience including projects of at least 500 kW
  • Experience in construction operations
  • Experience and understanding of Distributed Generation Solar projects
  • NABCEP PV Installation professional certification preferred
  • Solid understanding of Project Management process
  • Ability to problem solve both personnel issues and project issues
  • Good record keeping and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel regionally, depending on project location
  • Requires knowledge of construction techniques and equipment in order to develop strategies and manage overall quality and efficiency to ensure daily production.
