The Consultant Solution Architect (CSA) is a technical Business Development position supporting their assigned direct regional sales teams (NE, MW, W, S). The CSA's mission is to engage, educate and provide technical support for our Mechanical (Division 23) and Digital (Division 25) engineering specifier community to deliver Intelligent Buildings for their customers. The CSA will also be responsible for working with our other Schneider Electric divisions around Power, Datacenter, Healthcare and Cloud Based Experts to provide holistic, sustainable solutions that positively impact our environment.

Most of the work will be performed at the specifier's office over breakfast or lunch and there will be extensive regional travel for this position (65% or more). The CSA is responsible for actively driving and managing opportunities developed in relation to the consultants we influence. The CSA must be able to articulate and present technology systems and product positioning to technical specifiers and follow up with reoccurring visits to support the consultant's needs.

This job might be for you if:


  • Engineering degree with proven knowledge and understanding of the HVAC/BMS industry.
  • Minimum 10 years of sales/business development experience.
  • Highly self-motivated with proven track record.
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills and presentation skills.
  • Extensive regional traveling required.
  • Ability to work remotely and efficiently from a home or Branch office
