The Raleigh Big Data Production Support SME will play a key role in working alongside a distributed team to deliver an excellent level of service to Financial, Liquidity and Regulatory Reporting clientele worldwide. The successful candidate will be required to be familiar with a set of well-defined ITIL oriented processes and provide next generation application support in line with application and service level Key Performance Indicator's. The candidate should be eager to build on their existing IT data warehousing and Big Data support skill sets through hands-on support in a dynamic and time critical production environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics related subject area
• Proven experience of 1 to 3 years working in an application support role with working knowledge of ITIL based processes
• Hands on experience with SQL (ANSI) & Unix / Linux operating systems and experience in at least 1 scripting language
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
• General Knowledge of Job scheduling programs preferred ( eg. ControlM / Autosys / Airflow )
• Exposure to modern big data related technologies ( Cloudera ecosystem preferred )
• General knowledge of modern data science toolsets preferred ( eg. Python / R )
