Job Summary

Controls stock inventory and oversees the accuracy of documentation. Works with customers and other groups to ensure deliveries are made in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Documentation & System Updates

• Ensures accuracy of supporting documentation




• Uses Oracle, Siebel & CI to maintain accurate records, and for interrogation if queries arise




• Enters all goods received in the stock inventory system, updates the database, and correlate the items received to ensure order requirements are fulfilled

Shipping & Receiving

• Receives all goods delivered to the company either directly or following acceptance by security.




• Assists in daily warehouse duties, satisfying internal customers’ requirements (Projects & Operations), ensuring accuracy of shipments




• Ensures items are dispatched and coordinates speedy and efficient delivery of goods to the required destination; obtains sign-off for receipt

Problem Solving

• Liaisons with internal customers on projected delivery times for special orders




• Deputizes in the absence of the team leader

Inventory Management

• Allocations of stock inventory to internal customers, scheduling materials to be moved to and from IBX’s; coordinates inventory transfers with related departments




• Maintains and monitors minimum/maximum stock for projects & operations teams




• Controls stock inventory by conducting monthly physical counts, reconciling variances, inputting data into Oracle and Equinix database

Equipment

• Manages stored and/or abandoned equipment and maintains inventory of equipment

IBX Support

• Ensures removal/disposal of all packing material from the IBX

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience




• High School Diploma
