MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must work safely and follow all safety rules.
- Promote and maintain a clean and safe working environment for all employees
- Must follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Lifting requirements up 50 lbs. Palletizing positions require frequent lifting of 10-45 lbs depending on product
- Six Positions are as followed:
Bottle put on Labeling
Capping Shaking
Packing Palletizing
- Remove bulk containers from cases onto processing line.
- Manually apply caps and labels onto containers.
- Inspect containers for any defects; look for cracks, labels centered, no neckbands, no/loose caps, broken candy, candy quality, correct date codes, and correct box codes.
- Package finished goods into finished cases.
- Following a pallet configuration, stack finished cases onto a pallet. -
- Perform required quality tests and checks of QA Program to ensure support for all company Quality Policies and Procedures
- Rotate within department as directed by supervisor.
- Ability to communicate with others.
- All other assigned tasks as directed by supervisor.
- Flexibility with overtime, possibly on a daily occurrence.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Read and write English for the purpose of quality assurance, and food safety.
- Demonstrate the ability to work well with others.
- Demonstrate ability to work safely and meet quality standards at production speeds.
- Demonstrate ability to follow palletizing patterns.
- Demonstrate ability to follow quality procedures.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Performance Expectation for future Advancement Concideration
Employee must demonstrate the following to advance to Production Line Worker 2
The ability to work in all 6 positions To be in the process of training in another position(s) in plant Has demonstrated the work aptitude needed to run high speed production machinery and/or equivalent positions within plant. Has demonstrated the ability to follow direction. Has demonstrated the ability to work safely and promote teamwork. Has demonstrated a good attendance record.
