The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for maintaining Safety and Administration records, policies, and procedures. Other responsibilities include:


  • Assist with projects/initiatives for the Safety and Administration teams.
  • Maintaining the onboarding process for qualifying drivers and trucks in accordance with the FMCSA regulations as well as company policy.
  • Receive, review and file required documentation from the agent or applicant.
  • Data entry is required using various systems such as TMW, Tenstreet Comdata, Lockton, and other systems.

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in business, transportation, or a related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 1 year or less experience in truck transportation, administration, safety, or related experience. Prior experience processing driver applications, driver settlements, or general truck transportation safety/compliance a plus.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

COMPETENCIES: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills. Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines. Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Ability to perform accurately in a detail-oriented environment. Ability to gather, interpret, report, and use data and other information concerning assigned activities. Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team. Skilled in preparing clear and concise documents, including but not limited to reports, procedures, correspondences, and other written materials.

OTHER: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature, and the like. Extended use of a computer keyboard, viewing of a computer monitor, and the ability to sit for long periods of time.
