Position Overview:
Developing employees and effectively managing performance, controlling labor and material costs and ensuring service levels meet customer expectations and company standards
Assist with employee/job scheduling and provide assistance with technical/mechanical trouble-shooting/problem solving
Monitor technicians’ schedules to ensure timely completion of jobs and accurate customer invoicing
Manage the “on-call" process for technicians and personally handle escalated customer calls to resolve customer issues
Perform employee performance reviews, document performance issues, provide necessary employee counseling with targeted improvement action plans
Inventory management to include material and parts ordering
Interact with customers to build strong relationships
Warehouse safety and security along with other functions to include loading and unloading building materials as necessary for daily customer jobs
Prepare bids and quotes for customers as needed

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience managing personnel; preferably with a Service Organization in the building products and/or construction equipment rental industry
Successful completion of references, employment verifications, background check and drug screen required
Possess an ability for technical applications, mechanical systems and problem solving
Experience conducting meetings with exempt and non-exempt personnel
Experience hiring, training, developing and conducting annual performance reviews
Must enjoy a high level of activity in a hands-on environment where there is an emphasis on meeting deadlines and providing unmatched customer service
Travel is minimal; initially for training at another location(s), on occasion to customer job sites and quarterly for senior management meetings
