Job Description:

Henkels & McCoy is looking for a talented individual to work in the company's Quality Assurance and Control program; to inspect electrical meters installed in the home, review and edit inspection checklists, instruct on adherence to customer standards and ensure customer satisfaction with H&M Quality Programs and Construction Controls.

The best fit candidate is one with a construction and QA/QC background who can inspect/evaluate work performed by field crews and processes to ensure compliance with established specifications and standards. Additionally, must be a problem solver through effective communication and explaining the benefits of "First Time Quality" along with interacting well with geographically dispersed semi-autonomous groups throughout the region.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with Project Manager and Craft employees to:

• Be a catalyst in promoting Quality Management Systems.
• Build and enhance quality management systems focused on customer satisfaction, business process standardization, reliability and effectiveness.
• Teach, practice, develop & improve the company Quality focus.
• Develop Quality Checklists which achieve organizational goals
• Build Quality plans with Plan, Do, Check, Act elements and A3 Thinking that meet customer requirements in support of the H&M PMM system.
• Report improvement projects status to plans at regular intervals.
• Help to develop, roll-out, and administer a Quality initiatives and facilitate training on programs and technology related to Quality.
• Promote the Quality innovation success stories and results achieved across the region.

Qualifications:

• 4-year college degree preferred.
• Electrician or construction experience is required.
• Visio, digital imaging, CAD drawing and/or ability to review technical drawings, a plus.
• Construction Management degree, a plus.
• Project Management, Safety, Quality work experience/certifications, desired
• Bidding, Estimating and Contracting work experience, a plus.
• In depth knowledge of Quality System (ISO etc.), a plus.
• Track and record data to monitor program effectiveness.
• Computer skills - MS Office applications required.
