This multi-specialty Critical Care Unit / Intensive Care Unit has had an astounding track record of delivering the highest quality, award winning care. The ICU Nursing Director will take direct clinical and managerial oversight of 2 high-performing 20-bed ICUs, a CVICU unit, and 2 Progressive / Intermediate Care Telemetry Units which sees a broad range of patients and cases.


This Critical Care Unit is also well-known for its Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) Services, so the Director’s experience with ECMO, VAD, IABP, CRRT, as well as post-open heart care will certainly be in high demand.


Reporting to the Vice President of Nursing Services / CNO, the ICU Nursing Director will oversee a large and complex service line. Supporting you in this task are two CCRN Critical Care Nurse Managers who oversee clinical and administrative operations for the unit, as well as a few very strong and tenured ICU Charge Nurses who are experts in high-acuity patient care. Additional support comes from an amazing staff of experienced Intensive Care RNs, Providers, Educators, and Ancillary Personnel.


The ICU Nursing Director will play a crucial role in the clinical and administrative operations of this unit, and of this hospital. You will actively participate in the development and planning of the annual budget for this unit, setting and maintaining target staffing levels, and keeping a close eye on regulatory compliance for the Intensive Care Unit.
