About This Role:

The Survey Operations Manager is a critical member of Forrester's Research Analytics team who works closely with internal stakeholders across research and operations to design, manage, and process surveys and the resulting data. This role entails designing high-quality questionnaires with input from multiple stakeholders, overseeing field management, and managing the data cleaning process to prepare for client release.

Responsibilities


  • Lead discussion and build consensus with internal and external clients to strategically guide B2C and B2B survey content development.

  • Design surveys producing high-quality data and business-focused insights.

  • Manage the survey fielding process with vendors (including testing, quotas/weighting schemes, and field monitoring).

  • Oversee the cleaning and quality assurance of data sets using R, SPSS, and other tools.

  • Prepare data set to work effectively in proprietary data analysis platform.

  • Work with research and client engagement teams to develop survey content and answer questions about the data after it is released.

Qualifications


  • A bachelor's degree; a master's degree in social sciences is a plus.

  • Three to five years' experience in market research, including quantitative survey research management and data processing.

  • Expertise in survey design and data handling processes such as quota management, weighting, data quality assurance, vendor management, and data cleaning.

  • Proficiency with R, SPSS, or other data analysis software.

  • Sharp attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and high personal standards for quality and accuracy.

  • The ability to manage execute complex, large-scale, and multicountry surveys under strict deadlines.
