Reporting to the Manager of Speech Language Therapy, the Speech Language Therapist will be responsible for must be able to listen to and communicate with their patient in order to determine the right course of treatment. The Speech Therapist will assess, diagnose, treat, and help to prevent communication and swallowing disorders in children and adults. The ideal Speech Language Pathologist should have a minimum of two years experience in the unit, and have the ability to perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies in a fairly independent manner. FEES certification preferred.
