Major Responsibilities


  • District and Territory Maintenance and Segmentation Modeling

  • Target Setting and Attainment Reporting

  • Sales/Customer Contest Modeling and Monitoring

  • Opportunity Analysis

  • Sales Compensation Analysis

  • Develop and maintain data preparation and validation routines to support data mining and report presentation

  • Audits data and reports produced to ensure accuracy and consistency. Determines and implements methods to increase efficiency and effectiveness of reports.

  • Participate in process improvement and system enhancement definition and testing

  • Understands and demonstrates Essendant’s Core Values & Guiding Actions.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge Required


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Comfortable preparing and presenting Management information presentations

  • Ability to interface with multiple users across various departments and functional areas

  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Access and other Office applications required; prior experience with Hyperion, SQL, Power BI, CRM or other database reporting tools is preferred.

Education and Experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • Minimum 2 years related experience providing analytics, preferably in a Customer Care or Sales capacity
