Organizes and conducts engineering assignmentsESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Produces and amends engineering procedures, reports, and requirements documentation utilizing input from a responsible project engineer.
Generates change documentation (ECOs) and oversees their approval.
Utilizes technical language and proper formatting conventions to convey a succinct message to the end user or customer.
Conducts research and initiates the procurement process for materials required to fulfill engineering project obligations.
Assists with project material procurement and project planning.
Generates sketches, flowcharts, and figures for incorporation into documentation or drawings.
Helps to coordinate engineering activities with production.
Assist with preparations for design reviews, production reviews, and other formalized meetings.
Interfaces with project engineers, peers, other departments, and customers in a professional manner.
Adheres to Ultra Electronics Code of Conduct and Business Ethics Standards.
Other duties may be assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Associates degree in an engineering or technical related field.
7 + years of related experience.
Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance. Security clearances are granted to U.S. citizens.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Working knowledge of engineering design tools such as Inventor, OrCAD, or PSpice.
Familiarity with engineering or technical terms and concepts.
Technical writing or engineering technician experience is helpful.
Strong written and verbal communication skill.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Strong Adobe Acrobat products skills.
Resourceful and computer savvy.
Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
