JOB PURPOSE

Triage all work-related injuries/illness; administer first aid treatment as appropriate; and coordinate/schedule medical treatment for work related injuries/illnesses needing care by a license medical provider for the Seaboard Foods employees at the Guymon Processing Plant

RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned at management's discretion.


  • On site assessment of employee work related injuries/illnesses and delivery of appropriate medical triage or first aid treatment. Follow-up on first aid treatment as needed.

  • Communicate and update workers' compensation manager on all work-related injuries/illnesses.

  • Input and update all work-related injuries/illnesses in CCMSI's iCE data system.

  • Maintain complete confidentiality of all information.

  • Conduct drug and alcohol testing in accordance with the company's substance abuse policy.

  • Conduct audiometric hearing tests.

  • Support the worker's compensation manager in handling legal record keeping and noting trends/issues to be taken to appropriate human resources and operations management.

  • Communicate and keep the HR department abreast of employees with work restrictions, work related absences, etc.

REQUIREMENTS


  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN); EMT preferred

  • Medical Assistant or equivalent required

  • 1+ year related experience, especially with trauma or triage situations (i.e. EMT, hospital ER setting, etc.)

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred
