Job Description:

Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking an Operator I (3rd Shift)- Assembly for our facility in Fort Mill, SC to report to the Supervisor. This position is responsible for the operation of inspection and processing in accordance with established operator instructions, process sheets and work instructions, with emphasis on fit for quality parts and on time delivery that exceed customer requirements and expectations.

Key duties include but not limited to:

• Load machines according to process documentation and operator instructions
• Know and recognize part numbers to each component
• Operate pallet jack/fork lift to locate materials in and out of the productions areas
• Keep all parts identified and properly organized in such a way as to avoid mixing
• Keep work area neat and clean
• Inspecting and packaging parts

Qualified candidates will have:

• 3 months on the job training
• Ability to work overtime to include weekends
• Ability to read/complete blue prints
• Ability to process and read sheets
• High School Diploma or GED
