Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking a Project Management Specialist in Fort Mill, SC. This position is responsible for planning and coordinating process improvement and digitalization in HR, managing actions, risks and issues, meeting quality, cost and delivery time (QCD), while ensuring proper documentation following project methodology, aiming for continuous process improvement and digitalization. *This position is temporary (with full benefits) and will last a maximum of 2 years.*
Key Responsibilities include:
Have a complete understanding of the project documentation requirements and actively prepare, maintain, monitor and manage this documentation to support the successful completion of the project relating to QCD. That documentation includes project-related reports such as timelines, RACI charts, swimlane charts, fit gap analysis, desktop procedures, presentations, etc.
Actively work with Leadership, HR Project Manager and other Project Management Specialists to plan, organize, control resources, procedures, and timing for successful improvement of HR processes end-to-end, in support to the Americas initiative.
Plans, prepares, executes and supports workshops with involved stakeholders in each HR process to gather data in support to project planning and documentation.
Report project status to HR leadership. Frequency (weekly, bi-weekly and monthly) and content (overall update or focused on certain topics) may vary as needed.
Coordinates and monitors the knowledge transfer, serving as a subject matter expert to properly train future professionals, ensuring proper execution of future to be processes in support to HR processes improvement.
Aligns HR process improvement execution with implementation of IT enablers, supports P&I with required documentation and resources required from the HR side, to ensure proper alignment of new tools with future to be processes.
Work with the project team to track and monitor changes and to identify potential risks, establishing action plans to mitigate them.
Actively co-operates with global and local change management, facilitating local stakeholder involvement and providing provides information to employees.
Prepares HR processes for go live and supports project stabilization after that.
Qualified Candidates will have:
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field;
At least 5-year previous Human Resources or related experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education;
At least 2-year previous project related experience in HR, preferable with implementation of digitalization projects;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word);
Must possess strong organizational, communication and presentation skills;
Meticulous attention to detail and continuous improvement approach;
Assertive approach to solve problems;
Ability to handle multiple tasks;
Ability to maintain confidentiality;
Willingness to travel.
Project Management Professional Certification
Knowledge in SAP HCM, ServiceNow, OpenText, Aconso, CC4Skype and SAP SuccessFactors.
