POSITION SUMMARY:

Looking for a dynamic and talented Medical Operations Lead to partner with the Medial Affairs Senior Leadership Team of a global pharmaceutical company. The Medical Operations Lead will: coordinate activities for the CMO and Medical Senior Leadership team, oversee day to day operations, provide strategic insight and thinking to key initiatives, facilitate key meetings and will provide diligent updates of ongoing activities. The selected candidate must be analytical and understand the nuances of working with people across the globe, as well as, be able to effectively problem solve and connect the dots. This role will serve as a thought partner, deliver, and guide cross-functional communications, provide innovative solutions and aid in the growth of our scientific capabilities and overall business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:

Essential Functions:


  • Facilitate and or monitor strategic cross-collaborative initiatives

  • Act as the executive's proxy at meetings and/or gate keeper of and the executive's time

  • Manage communications with key stakeholders, externally and internally

  • Ensure consistent, clear, and concise communication from the CMOs office

  • Administer processes and optimize operational effectiveness

  • Serve as a liaison between the care model team and the technology, business, and operations teams

  • Act as an advisor leveraging the chief medical officer's healthcare leadership experience

  • Serve as a partner to the CMO and Leadership Team, providing guidance and counsel on the key topics with a willingness and ability to provide both ideas and solutions and their sound execution

  • Serve as a thought partner to the Medical Leadership Team

  • Aid and assist in assessing operational risks as well as growth opportunities and identify ways to mitigate/capitalize as appropriate

  • Manage priorities and the strategic goals of the CMO and Leadership Team

  • Be a liaison between Medical Leadership and the rest of the company and stay informed of market trends

  • Point person for managing the tracking activities, dashboards, and follow ups.

  • Work with appropriate stakeholders to undertake analysis and prepare and QC reports.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Experience:


  • 5 years minimum experience in a similar role

  • Proven success supporting executives, facilitating, and monitoring strategic initiatives

Travel: Minimal travel required.
